The palms contain specialized vascular structures called arteriovenous anastomoses, or AVAs. These high-flow blood vessels help the body regulate temperature by rapidly moving blood between arteries and veins.
AVACEN uses the palm as a single, convenient treatment point. By combining controlled heat with gentle negative pressure, the system increases blood flow through this unique vascular network without needles, medications, electrical stimulation, or invasive procedures. AVACEN is an FDA-cleared, Class II, noninvasive heat-therapy device designed to temporarily increase local circulation, promote muscular relaxation, and provide temporary relief from minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness.
Healthy circulation is essential for delivering oxygen and nutrients to working tissues while helping transport carbon dioxide and metabolic waste away from them. AVACEN — Advanced Vascular Circulation Enhancement — is a patented thermal-therapy system that combines controlled heat with gentle negative pressure. The hand is placed inside a specialized mitt and treatment chamber. Gentle negative pressure helps expand the vascular structures in the palm while controlled heat warms the circulating blood moving through the area.
This process is designed to temporarily increase local circulation where applied and promote muscular relaxation. A typical treatment can be completed in approximately 20 minutes.

Landmark Regulatory Clearance
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration determined that the AVACEN 100 was substantially equivalent to legally marketed heat-therapy devices and cleared it as a Class II powered heating pad. Its cleared indications include:
